The Role
This is a hybrid role. Although regular visits to our Plymouth HQ will be required, you will also be able to regularly work from your home office. You will be part of a multi-skilled team to deliver solutions to our clients predominantly based in the South-West but potentially elsewhere in the UK. Your role will be hands on, involved in the design and development of either front end interfaces and/or back end services for our projects. Some offsite travel and working may be required.
This placement will commence in July 2023.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a student studying an Information Technology / Computer Science related degree in your penultimate or final year, with a passion for creating great solutions. With the help of our experienced team, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and become an awesome software engineer, using cutting edge technologies and practices.
You should be a team player; comfortable collaborating and operating in a dynamic customer facing environment. A growth mind-set and the ability to think creatively is essential.
We need to see evidence of passion for technology both academically and in your spare time.
Some projects will require that you undertake and be eligible for UK security clearance (BPSS or SC). We are unable to offer the placement to students who require sponsorship.
